In Focus
On the surface, The Cabot’s In Focus is a program for young filmmakers that teaches kids ages 10 – 15 how to create their own films – from storyboarding to editing to lighting. In practice, these hands-on classes offer a deep impact curriculum that creates a critical safe space for students to express and evolve their identities, learn the collaborative nature of success, and find their place in the world.
The program is dedicated to providing equal access to media and movie creation for all students on the North Shore, regardless of background or economic status. We offer full scholarships to families that would be impacted by the cost of the program.
