The Porch Sessions at Hale Farm

The Porch Sessions presented by The Cabot will return to Hale Farm, 39 Hale Street in downtown Beverly, for another great season of live music in an intimate outdoor setting.

Hale Farm was home to many generations of the Hale family and was once 100 acres that reached the ocean. It now stands as a one-acre green space just steps from Cabot Street and the waterfront, and is owned and operated by Historic Beverly. Proceeds from the Porch Sessions concerts will go to support The Cabot’s reopening and Historic Beverly.

Artists will perform on a small stage in front of the porch of the historic farmhouse.  Patrons will be seated by group at small tables on the lawn.

Masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated patrons.  We advise those who are unvaccinated and anyone who feels uncomfortable to continue to wear a mask.

Food & beverages will be available for pre-order including summer beer selections from Riverwalk Brewing Co. Light boxed dinners and appetizers will also be available for purchase through Root, a North Shore non-profit whose mission is to help young adults create a pathway to independence through food service training and employment.  Ticket purchasers will be sent a separate email with event specific information and links to pre-order food & beverages.

If tickets are on sale and available, there will be a buy tickets button next to the performance listing that will take you to the page where you can purchase tickets online.  Due to limited capacity tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

If an event has to be cancelled due to inclement weather we will attempt to reschedule it to a later date or we will move it indoors to The Cabot. Tickets will be honored on the new date. You will be notified via email if we have to reschedule the event.

Tickets may be purchased in groups of 2 – 4. Tables will be assigned in the order purchased based on group size. If you are coming with another couple and want to sit together, you should purchase 4 tickets in one transaction.  You will then be assigned to a table of 4.  Your group will have its own table and will not be seated with others not in your group.

Your table number will be e-mailed to you the week of the performance along with instructions for pre-ordering food and beverages through Noble.   There is no on site kitchen so meals are prepared off site and delivered to Hale Farm just after the doors open.  They will be available for pick up when you arrive.  Drinks ordered in advance will be delivered to your table by our friendly Cabot bar staff.  Additional beverages can be ordered on site using the Noble app.

No outside food or beverages can be brought into the venue. IDs will be checked at the door and wristbands will be issued to all those over 21.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance. 

Restrooms are available on site.

Sunglasses and a light sweater are recommended.

Parking is very limited in the neighborhood around the property.   There is a drop off area at the front of the venue for those unable to walk from nearby lots.  We recommend parking in the Cabot lot and taking a short walk to the venue.  St. Peter’s Church, 4 Ocean Street, has also offered free parking in their parking lot for most performances.  Directions to Hale Farm can be found here.
