How do I buy tickets?

See Ticket Information for important information regarding how to purchase tickets to the Cabot.

Why are there service fees?

Ticket service companies invest in creating software that makes purchasing tickets online possible.  They get paid by charging a fee for each ticket purchased online using their platform. They are providing a service to consumers who live far away or want to avoid driving to the box office. We are working with Ticketmaster, our official ticketing partner, to reduce our online fees. Effective 9/25/19, we are lowering our service fees but you can still avoid them altogether by coming in to purchase your tickets at the Cabot box office during box office hours.

What are your box office hours?

The box office is open Wednesday – Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM as well as 30 minutes before the first event of the day until 30 minutes after the last event begins. To reach the box office you may also email [email protected] or call 978-927-3100 Ext 1.

Should I purchase tickets from StubHub, Seat Geek, Vivid Seats, Craig’s List or other third-party resellers?

No!  Most resellers charge much more than face value for tickets and in some cases your tickets may not even be valid and you may be denied entry to the event.  If you purchase from one of these re-sellers, you risk purchasing a counterfeit or invalid ticket. The Cabot does not guarantee tickets purchased from unofficial sources.

What is your policy regarding dancing?

See Shall We Dance for new dancing policies at the Cabot.

Can I bring my pet?

Only service animals, as defined by the ADA, are allowed.

Are your live shows for all ages?

All shows are for all ages unless otherwise advertised. Parents, please use your own discretion when considering the show.

Can I take photos or video at the show?

No video recording, flash photography or professional SLR cameras are allowed (except by credentialed media and press representatives) at any movie, concert or live event.  Artists who perform at The Cabot have specific rules for each show and The Cabot must abide by these rules.

What age do I need to be to qualify for a senior movie discount?

Anyone age sixty and over qualifies for a senior movie discount at non-matinee movie showings. There are no discounts for seniors at live events.

What is considered a “matinee” for movies?

A movie before 5:00 PM is considered a matinee. Any movie that begins at 5:00 pm or later is regular pricing.

Does The Cabot provide assistance for the hearing impaired?

Yes. The Cabot provides Assistive Listening Devices that work with our sound system. They can be signed out at the box office and used for the duration of the movie or show.

Do I have to buy a ticket for my young child?

Children age two or younger, who can quietly sit on a lap, are not charged unless you need a seat for them. Otherwise, children of age twelve and under qualify for a children’s discount, but only at non-matinee movie showings.
